On the pages of the book of Andre Van Der marriage, Western philosophy in the person of Friedrich Nietzsche and Buddhist philosophical and social practice, represented by Nagarjuna, Lin-С"i and Dogan, enter into dialogue. According to the author, the stage of individual spiritual development, which can be traced in the philosophical asceticism of Nietzsche, and Zen-Buddhist practice are conceptually similar.
Andre Van Der Marriage does not answer one of the main philosophical questions: "What is the truth?", but translates it from a theoretical plane into a practical one - an individual search for truth is naturally replaced by the search and acquisition of the path.
Despite the academic form of this study, the text is written simply and clear, which makes the book interesting not only to specialists, but also to a wide circle of readers, for whom "truth" is not an empty phrase
