Francis Bacon is an English historian, philosopher, politician, one of the most famous scientists of his time. His works serve as a vivid example of the onset of the new time of rationalism, the heyday of a scientific, empirical approach to reality, which put an end to the dark Middle Ages. The current publication included two main works by Francis Bacon: “The new organ, or true instructions for the interpretation of nature” and “Experiments, or moral and political instructions”. In these texts, the author, using a brief, affordable form of presentation, tried to cover all the main issues of knowledge of being standing in front of a man of the 17th century
