The monograph is devoted to the problem of renewing humanism in modern philosophy and social theory. Turning to various aspects of understanding of humanism: conceptual, ethical, level of political practices and technological solutions, the authors try to answer the question of what is happening with modern ideas about a person and methods of his/our self -understanding. Much depends on how exactly and who will answer this question: political strategies and mass culture, everyday morality and global ideas about acceptable and unacceptable.
