The philosophy of Michel Henri is a kind of version of French phenomenological philosophy, which is based on the concept of life. The book discusses three main topics: 1) matter of consciousness - "impression". It is understood not as a certain material awaiting highlighting from the intensity form, but as the phenomenon of life itself, 2) the possibility of comprehension of the invisible life requires a rethinking of the phenomenological method, 3) the attitude to another changes its nature: before being comprehended in the world, it gains flesh in Life where both "I" and "Other" are born
