The monograph presents essays on humanistic thought in the philosophy of the 20th century. The main problems that were in the focus of the attention of the humanist thinkers are considered: global socio-anthropological crisis and deending, social alienation and manipulating a person, global human prospects, ethical and humanistic examination of modern technologies, and the problems of bioethics.
