Sofya Aleksandrovna Yanovskaya (1896-1966) --- Soviet mathematician, logician, philosopher, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences. Her works are devoted to the problems of history, methodology and philosophy of mathematics.
The book contains some of the articles unpublished during the life of the author, as well as several articles published in publications that have currently been inaccessible. The articles proposed to the attention of readers are diverse in content, but all of them reflect not only S.A. Yanovskaya, which she occupied in the logic and philosophy of mathematics, but also show what a wise teacher she was, on which seemingly simple examples she illustrated difficult problems. The work given in the collection is not only interesting in content, but are documents that clearly characterize the era in which S.A. lived and worked. Yanovskaya
