The monograph develops a level concept of the methodology of scientific knowledge based on the fact of a level organization of scientific knowledge. According to the author’s concept, the structure of the scientific knowledge of any of the sciences consists of four levels: sensory knowledge, empirical knowledge, theoretical knowledge and metatheoretic knowledge. All levels of scientific knowledge differ from each other not only in the degree of community, but also in ontological, epistemological and methodological foundations. For each of the levels, there is a special cluster of methods for obtaining and substantiating knowledge. Accordingly, the qualitative differences of nature and the content of the levels of scientific knowledge are the difference in the criteria of their truth.
The book is addressed to researchers, teachers, graduate students, students and everyone who is interested in the problems of modern philosophy and methodology of science
