The first volume is an authorized publication of lectures on the history of classical German philosophy, read by Evgeny Semenovich Linkov for students of the Faculty of Philosophy of the St. Petersburg (Leningrad) State University in the 1988/1989 academic year. The form and content of the course are unique: it includes a detailed phenomenological introduction into philosophy, the definition of its concept, the main stages of historical development of philosophy and the philosophical consideration of its result, represented by the teachings of Immanuel Kant, Johann Gotlib Fichte, Friedrich Wilhelm Schelling and Georg Friedrich Hegel.
The publication is addressed to all those interested in this philosophy and the peaks of its development.
The second volume includes special courses for the philosophy of nature and anthropology of the spirit presented by the audience in 1986/1987 and 1987/1988 of the school years.
