The book of the famous philosopher Valery Plants explores an unusually interesting and promising topic: the metaphysics of landscape images in the philosophical culture of the XIX-XX century. The author is looking for answers to such questions as: what is a philosophical work (its “ideology”, attitude to the world and conditions of reproduction), what is the spatiality of thought, its communicative plans and opportunities, how did the author’s position in philosophy change during the century? In-depth analytical work begins with the representation of the features of the vision and the feeling of spatial in the thoughts of S. Kirkegore further goes to the ideas of the “eternal return” of F. Nietzsche and the geo-philosophy of the late Heidegger. A special place is given to the analysis of metaphysics “after Auschwitz” T.V. Adorno.
