Karl Yaspers (1883-1968) is the largest figure of Western thought of the 20th century: philosopher, psychiatrist, psychologist. His life took place against the backdrop of a turning point: the sunset of the Weimar Republic, the development of Nazism and the separation of Germany, two world wars and a nuclear conflict, and ideas were a reflection of the era of the crisis in economics, culture, science and philosophy. Having a developed ability to reflect and strict systematic thinking, Jaspers contributed to the development of lively problems of modernity - issues of the methodology of studying mental life and the specifics of philosophical knowledge, the origins of history and the possibility of overcoming the crisis of culture, values of education and the goals of human development.
The publication is addressed to philosophers, psychologists, historians, culturalists, psychiatrists, as well as to everyone who is interested in the philosophy of the 20th century
