Many of the issues that were discussed in detail in the second book of the cycle "Introduction to the Science of Philosophy" - "Eternal Problems of Philosophy" could not be resolved for a long time. The idealists, in principle, were not able to do this. Their inconsistency interfered with the materialists: they were materialists only in the views of nature, in the understanding of society they all stood in the positions of idealism. In order to get out of the impasse, it was necessary to find an objective source of social ideas, objective social being ("social matter") This was done by K. Marx and F. Engels, for the first time in the history of human thought that created consistent materialism to the end. The formation of a materialistic understanding of history made it possible to discover an objective source of activity of consciousness, combine materialism with dialectics, create a fundamentally new form of determinism and solve the problem of freedom and necessity. All this is discussed in the real, third book of the cycle
