The book is devoted to the creation of the first years of work of the Institute of Scientific Philosophy (Inf) - the initial stage of the history of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which celebrates its century in 2021. Based on the previously not investigated archival materials, the authors analyze the principles and methods of its activities, paying special attention to the intellectual originality of such outstanding employees of the institute as G. G. G. I. I. Chelpanov, V. N. Ivanovsky, I. A. Ilyin, S. L. Frank, A. M. Deborin, L. I. Axelrod, I. V. Popov, P. S. Popov and others. The book first publishes the original texts of philosophers who worked at the institute, as well as archival documents (minutes of meetings, competitive documentation and personal correspondence) Among the numerous illustrations are photographs about the work of infatus from Aran, the department of manuscripts of the RSL, RGALI and the RGASPI.
