From the atomism of Democritus to the principle of Heisenberg’s uncertainty, from the thought of Aristotle about the individual to returning to Husserl’s things, from the Cartesian ego and the Leibnisian monad to the Heidegger Dasein - the question of the genesis of the individual never ceased to care the philosophers and people of science. Outside the field of epistemological studies taking into account the thesis of thermodynamics, the production of technical objects, the formation of crystals, the originality of Gilbert Simondon is to question the very idea of the principle of individual and philosophical basis.
The methodological installation of Simondon in a radical new light leads to an understanding of the attitude of the individual’s invasion into the pre -individual field and coincidence with this field, from which he appears and which always remains concomitant in his mutations and metamorphoses. Thus, without being a pure object, nor a pure subject, each individual in his apparent identity is revealed as the theater of individuals, where the permissible tension of the pre -Indian field that forms the world intersect. What made Gilbert Simondon develop an updated concept of information - on the other side of idealism and realism borrowed from coded message technologies - is revealed in his concept of trans production, the structure of existence and the act of cognition during permission. The originality of this work consists in a combination of a strict reflection of the epistemological and technical order, which is rooted in our modernity, and historical meditation about a tradition that is not afraid to question philosophical attitudes that seemed to be always granted. In fact, we are talking about reforming our principles and our operational concepts, in order to approach the most important problem of the individual in a new light
