Immanuel Kant is a great philosopher, the ancestor of German classical philosophy. We have selected for you several fragments from his most famous and significant works: “Criticism of pure reason”, “Criticism of practical mind” and “Criticism of the ability of judgment”. In “Criticism of Pure Reason”, the essence of knowledge, the activity of the mind is considered. The continuation of this complex, but fascinating work is the “criticism of the practical mind”, dedicated to ethics, issues of duty and morality, discussions about happiness. And, finally, in “criticism of the ability of judgment”, the philosopher discusses beauty and especially dwells on the concept of expediency
