The key figure of Russian modernism Akim Lvovich Volynsky left the brightest mark in Russian literature and the art of the Silver Age. Having ahead of his time for 100 years, he anticipated modern Indo -Europeanism, the foundations of which formulated in the outstanding work the Hyperborean Hymn, first published in this book. Following the roots of the origin of modern human civilization, A.L. Volynsky reconciled the Middle East with its Avramic monotheism and Indo -European Hyperborea, which he considered the birthplace of monotheism, not paganism.
Outstanding literary critic-art-investigation and publisher of the Northern Herald magazine in his articles sharply opposed the fashion at the junction of the centuries of positivism. In art and in the system of artistic thought he went against the movements, he was looking for an incomprehensible Hyperborean ideal.
The book is intended for a wide range of readers, especially those who are fond of masterpieces of Russian philosophy, literature and art of the Silver Age era
