The monograph presents the concept of the epistemological series. It is formed on the basis of a study of the achievement of truth in individual and collective knowledge. It was revealed that the formation of the epistemological series is characteristic of natural science and social knowledge, for individual and collective. This allows us to conclude that all human knowledge develops through the formation of epistemological series, and such their formation is one of its patterns. An important conceptual element is the analysis of the mechanism of cognitive activity that forms the elements of the epistemological series, and the factors leading to errors and errors are revealed. Offering the classification of the latter, the author represents ways and means to overcome their negative action in human knowledge.
