Lectures on the history of philosophy analyze the main doctrines, schools, and the directions of philosophy for more than 2.5 millennia.
In the I volume - the classic stage in the development of philosophy, starting from the VII -VI centuries BC and completing the XVIII century. The difference between European philosophy and the philosophy of the Ancient East is shown.
In the 3rd volume, the specifics and the difference between non -classical philosophy (it is also called post -classical or modern philosophy) and the classical one are shown. The main directions of this stage of development of philosophy are analyzed.
From the 60s of the XX century, the third stage in the development of philosophy began, called the philosophy of postmodern (sometimes post-non-classical philosophy) In conclusion II Tom, a brief review of the ideas and methods of postmodern philosophy is presented.
A course of lectures is recommended to studying the philosophy and history of philosophy. It can be used when writing essays, preparing for exams. It will also be useful to all interested philosophy
