The book is a reflection and generalization of the results of the Russian scientific conference "History of Philosophy: Calls of the 21st century (invitation to dialogue), which was conducted on the initiative of the Department of Historical and Philosophical Studies of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences on November 15-16, 2012 in Moscow. One of the tasks of the conference was the involvement of not only well-known historians of philosophy, Russian and foreign, but also representatives of other philosophical disciplines in the urgent discussion on the urgent problems of historical and philosophical knowledge, his attitude to other philosophical sciences, contradictions, difficulties, paradoxes of the development of philosophy (especially At the latest stages), to "exploreing" a possible future historical and philosophical research. Particular attention is paid to the comprehension of the current state of history of philosophy in Russia. The book was conceived as the first step towards further discussion of the fate of the history of philosophy, as an invitation to dialogue both specialists and a wider public interested in philosophy. The concept and format of the conference (and, accordingly, this book) differ from the usual ways of conducting scientific forums and publishing their results: not a few long reports were pronounced, but numerous compactly presented ideas and judgments (statments) and discussions
