The textbook is written in accordance with the new requirements contained in state educational standards. The main attention is paid to the latest philosophical approaches to understanding the nature, essence and meaning of science and scientific activity. The logic and pragmatics of the development of scientific knowledge systems, as well as their interaction with social and cultural systems, are shown. The foundations of the theory and methodology of scientific knowledge, criticism of scientific rationality, as well as certain problems of legal knowledge are considered. In the fifth and sixth chapters, individual materials were prepared according to the results of scientific research conducted by the author in the teams under his leadership (as part of the design part of the state assignment for the implementation of the research of the Ministry of Education and Science on Project 942 and within the framework of the basic part of the state assignment for the implementation of the NIR under project 29.4813 .2017/8.9) or carried out by collectives with the participation of the author (with financial support from the RFFIA as part of scientific projects No. 18-29-16041 and No. 18-29-14002)
