The book considers the nature and features of argumentation as intellectual, practical and socio-communicative activity. Logical, epistemological, linguistic, linguistic and cognitive aspects of justification and refutation, protection and criticism of opinions, as well as linguistic means of expression, clarify the functions and statuses of argument agents in disputes. Methods of modeling, representations and criteria for acceptability of arguments, as well as techniques for detecting, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of argumentation in the dialogue are proposed. The authors of the book are leading domestic arguments.
