Alexey Alekseevich Ukhtomsky, a world-famous physiologist, possessed encyclopedic knowledge in the field of philosophy, theology, literature and left his mark on the “hidden thought” of Russia of the 1920s-1930s. The prince by origin, a deeply religious man, he enjoyed the non -accidental authority among the Old Believers in a single -relief church. The dramatic moral ideas of A.A. Ukhtomsky, not in demand by the 20th century, are not perceived properly today. The diaries of A.A. Ukhtomsky, included in this collection, are printed according to publications: Ukhtomsky A. Intuition of conscience: Letters. Notebooks. Notes on the fields (St. Petersburg, 1996) Ukhtomsky A. Honored interlocutor: Ethics. Religion. Science (Rybinsk, 1997), in the preparation of the text of A.A. Ukhtomsky, some features of its spelling and punctuation are preserved.
