Max Stirner (real name Johann Caspar Schmidt) is a German philosopher (1806 - 1856), who anticipated the ideas of nihilism, existentialism and postmodernism. One of the fundamental ideas of Stirner was ethical egoism. “We live in a world full of ghosts and obsessed,” wrote Stirner. - Everywhere and everywhere we seek to prove that the meaning and purpose of our existence lie somewhere outside us. That you just need to find this meaning and sacrifice your interests in order to embody this goal. Isn’t it easier, is it better, is it more profitable, finally, having discarded greedy ideals, to build your own business on yourself? ”
Much of what Friedrich Nietzsche spoke about (1844 - 1900) was taken from Stirner. According to Nietzsche, there are two types of morality: "morality of slaves" and "morality of gentlemen". The morality of gentlemen embodies self -esteem, individualism and freedom inherent in people with a healthy ego.
