The treatise "Tao de Jing" is a unique monument of human thought that laid the foundation of Taoism. Created more than two thousand years ago, the book still remains an inexhaustible source of wisdom and reflection on being, justice, nature of good and evil.
The translation presented in this edition was made by Daniel Konisi (Konisi Masutaro) - the Japanese Russianman, a graduate of the seminary at the Russian Theological Academy in Tokyo.
The collection also included the articles of Konisi, which will help the reader reveal the essence of the teachings of Lao Tzu, and the aphorisms of the ancient Chinese thinker, translated by Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy
