This book (33rd volume in the series “The Philosophy of Russia of the First half of the twentieth century”) represents the life and intellectual trajectories of three European thinkers with Russian roots-A. Koyre, A. Kozhev, I. Berlin. Its methodological strategies are compared in it, the cultural and existential prerequisites of their style of thinking are revealed, which allowed them to achieve success and recognition as European philosophers, and their intellectual ties with Russia are traced and the significance of Russian culture for the thematic orientation of these thinkers and for European philosophy is comprehended XX century as a whole.
