Immanuel Kant is the founder of German classical philosophy and critical idealism, a thinker, which, in terms of influence, standing next to Plato and Aristotle. In this publication, two works of the famous "critical period" of the philosopher: "Criticism of pure reason" and "criticism of the ability of judgment" are included. The first reveals Kant"s views on the structure and mechanisms of cognition, the second on the problem of beauty, the phenomenon of genius and the nature of the beautiful. These works are given in reduction and with comments called in an accessible form to clarify the most ornate and complex places of Kantian thought
