The attention of readers is offered a book by a Russian lawyer, doctor of law V.G.Shglov (1854-1927), dedicated to a comparative analysis of the philosophical and moral worldview of the two great thinkers --- L.N. Tolstoy and F. School. The work sets out the most important views of both philosophers on the basis of their writings, and then a comparison of the views of Tolstoy and Nietzsche is carried out regarding their similarities and differences on the main social issues --- on religion, morality, science, art, family, law and the state. It is shown that the philosophical systems of Tolstoy and Nietzsche are an expression of two opposite views on various goals in the life and activity of man. The conclusion presents a general assessment of the philosophical and modal worldview of L.N. Tolstoy and F. Nizsche, the significance of their views in the life of the modern author of European society is shown.
The book will be interesting to both specialists --- philosophers, social scholars, culturalists, and a wide circle of readers
