Danish religious thinker Seren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) is one of the brightest figures in the history of philosophy. The paradoxical, impudent, ironic polemicist and philosopher and at the same time fiery and passionate preacher, lonely and uncompromising, Kierkegaard had a huge impact on the entire 20th century.
The works of S. Kierkegaard, presented in this book, are devoted to the practice of Christian life. Turning to the various places of the Holy Scriptures, S. Kierkegaard reveals their existential meaning, showing what it means to be “the performers of the word, and not just the listeners who deceive themselves” (James 1:22) The combination of simplicity and depth, characteristic of the works presented in the book, makes them affordable and interesting the most wide circle of readers.
The translation of two small theological treatises is published for the first time
