“Assembly of sand and stones” (“Senicecse”, the end of the XIII century) is one of the important sources on the history of the philosophical thought of the East. The study contains an outline of the history of the religious and philosophical thought of Japan, a general description of the literature of “instructive stories”, an overview of the main publications and translations of the monument, as well as research on it in Japanese and Western science. Also, the research part of the work included an outline of the life and work of Muju Iteen, consideration of the issue of Indian, Chinese and Japanese sources “Collected” and analyzing those opportunities for choosing a life path that are discussed in this essay, including the monk, a monk, a hermit, a worshiper gods, warrior and poet.
