The name of Plato does not need a special performance. Throughout European history, the dialogues of this ancestor of philosophy, representing, among other things, great artistic value, involve the reader in an endless conversation in which his reader can be born, his own thought. The thinker questioning speech is addressed to everyone who is open to the conversation and is not afraid of unexpected discoveries that may happen in his own soul. Once and again, Plato continues to stop the passers -by, distracting them from everyday worries, and give birth to amazement to the mystery of the most seemingly simple and naive issues: what is justice? What is good? What is love? The current publication includes dialogs from the early, transitional and mature periods of Plato"s work, including such important texts as "Apology of Socrates", "Feasten", "Fedon", "Fedr", as well as the introductory article by Vladimir Solovyov, one of the most significant Russian philosophers of the XIX century.
