“Bhagavad-gita” (“Song of God”)-along with the Bible and the Qur"an, is one of the most revered scriptures in world history, a fragment of the ancient Indian epic “Mahabharata”.
In “Bhagavad-gita” there is a philosophical conversation between Prince Arjuna and his charioteer Krishna: the eternal topics of duty, the meaning of life are raised, various systems of Indian philosophy and practice of yoga are presented. “Bhagavad-gita” has long outgrown the “Mahabharata” itself and became an independent book-one of the most important books not only of Hinduism, but also of all of humanity.
The new translation was made by Boris Grebenshchikov-a poet, a musician, a composer and an executor
