This book continues the cycle under the general title "between physics and metaphysics", dedicated to the formation of fundamental theoretical physics in our country (book 1: Diamat, contrary to. M.: URSS, Prince 2: along the path of Clifford --- Einstein. M.: URSS, book 3: Geometric paradigm: Time test. M.: URSS) The books of this cycle talk about the nature of space-time, about its key properties (dimension, metric, signature, etc), about the hypotheses of the origin and evolution of the world, about the construction of a unified theory of interactions, about the ratio of science, philosophy and religion, and .
This publication is devoted to the history of the development of a relational approach to the nature of space-time and the concept of long-range action in physics, starting with discussions on this issue by G. Leibonitsa with I. Newton and ending with domestic studies of the late twentieth century. The ideas of E. Mach and their role in the formation of the theory of relativity are set out, discussions of the 20--30s in the USSR, the essence of the work of R. Feinman and J. Wieler of the 40- and50s, and described the studies of direct interprastise interaction in the USSR in the USSR. The 60s and 80s, the works of Yu.I. Kulakov on the theory of physical structures, as well as the main ideas and results of the author’s research on binary geometrophysics. The expressed ideas and causes of failures in attempts to construct the theories of direct interpraust interaction are analyzed. The vision by the author of the desired relational picture of the universe is shown.
