Ivan Alexandrovich Ilyin (1883-1954) - one of those outstanding Russian thinkers who were forced to leave their homeland after the Bolsheviks came to power. Looking around the past, the philosopher was looking for the reasons for the coming to the power of the "Evil Forces" - and found them not on the surface, but much deeper, in the principles of state structure. He believed that it was necessary to cultivate in society the sense of self -esteem of each person, respect for others and their right to freedom of personality. The thinker believed that such a movement would give an impetus to the growth of legal awareness, and this, in turn, would allow you to build a state favorable for human development. In exile, Ilyin remained an active, active patriot, a fighter for the Russian idea, for the future of the Russian state. His works had a significant impact on the worldview of the patriotic forces of Russian abroad
