150 years of pragmatism. History and modernity

The collection includes articles by the participants of the international conference "150 years of pragmatism", held on October 30-31, 2018 at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Classical American pragmatism and its development in the twentieth-XXI centuries, a reception of the ideas of Ch.S. Pierce, W. James and J. Dewey in Europe, Russia and China, the influence of pragmatism on modern philosophy, sociology, cultural studies and the theory of law - these and other topics discussed during the conference were reflected in the materials presented.
Among the authors of the collection are leading researchers of pragmatism and indiscriminateness from Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Canada, China, Russia and the USA
