Perception and reproduction of sounds are essential interconnected processes without which the development of speech and successful acquisition of writing and reading in school would be impossible. In order to prevent (or timely correct) phonetic speech disorders, it is necessary to teach a child to distinguish the sounds of their native language. Our book will help preschoolers learn to hear sounds, identify sounds within words, determine the location of a sound in a word, and therefore, spell words correctly. All tasks are aimed at recognizing the sound. We also offer additional games aimed at developing auditory attention and auditory memory, graphic dictations, and ciphers.
