The textbook was prepared by Professor of the Department of Ethics of the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University A.V. Distribution. It reflects the long-term practice of teaching ethics and philosophy courses in Moscow State University and a number of other educational institutions. The manual considers the history of philosophy and modern theoretical problems of philosophical knowledge. The logic of the presentation is built as to show the reader, for which philosophy is needed to man, as it would seem, abstract philosophical issues are used in the practice of life and the methodology of knowledge. In the last section of the study manual, the utmost metaphysical issues of being are in detail.
