Philosophical Dictionary S.S. Gogotsky (1813-1889), published in 1876, is the first full -fledged philosophical dictionary in Russia.
From the introductory article:
"Dictionaries do not become obsolete. They reflect the path that we came to where we discover ourselves when we turn from the outside world to ourselves. Dictionaries are tools of self -knowledge of entire nations, and this is the path that can be taken out of those ideological traps in which we find ourselves in pursuit of fashion or progress.
Without "philosophical dictionary" Sylvester Gogotsky, Russian philosophy will never be complete and independent among other world philosophy. "
