"The phenomenology of the Spirit" is one of the most fundamental works in the history of philosophical thought and, perhaps, therefore, one of the most difficult to understand. Gustav-translated sleeve was probably in the 20s of the last century, this book was published in 1959 by edition of 15 thousand copies, and now it became a bibliographic rarity.
Gustav Spet himself is a brilliant and original thinker of his tragic generation - worked productively in the phenomenological direction, defending his turning importance in the philosophy of the early 20th century. The sleeper carried out a phenomenological campaign to the analysis of the consciousness and its semantic formations, and not only in their abstract moments, but also in their historical concreteness. That is why his attention turned out to be captured by the Spirit"s phenomenology "of Hegel, and he decided to work - it is necessary to think, difficult and tense - to translate this extraordinarily complicated, even in a purely language plan, a book.
