When writing the book, the author used his previous experience in creating textbooks and teaching aids for students of medical faculties, pharmaceutical faculties of medical universities, and pharmaceutical schools. In this edition, the main sections of general and special pharmacology are presented concisely. Special attention is paid to drugs affecting the cardiovascular system and the gastrointestinal tract. The section on 'Antitumor Agents' has been significantly revised. A new chapter has been introduced dedicated to drugs that suppress immunity. A large number of illustrations will facilitate the understanding of the presented information. Self-assessment test tasks at the end of each chapter will allow readers to evaluate their own level of knowledge on each topic.
