Pharmacognosy. Medicinal raw materials of plant and animal origin

The training manual was drawn up on the basis of a pharmacognosia program (specialty Pharmacy), approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in 2002, in the book, general concepts concerning medicinal plants, medicinal animals and medicinal vegetable, as well as animal raw materials, practical aspects of resource science and billets . The list of materials included in the manual is selected on the basis of the "programs" and "State Register of Medicines" of the Last Edition. The data on the propagation of specific medicinal plants, their workpiece, primary processing, drying and storage are also given. Regulatory documentation is indicated, allowing to make an idea of ​​the analysis of finished medicinal raw materials, its appointment in medical practice, the main drugs manufactured on it are indicated. Annexes are given: a pharmacological classification of medicinal plants, recommendations for the use of dietary supplements, guidelines for the study of phytopreparations, euglobali of certain types of eucalyptus, the content of ecotoxicants in medicinal vegetation raw materials.
The manual is intended for students of pharmaceutical universities and the relevant faculties of medical universities.
