The third volume of this Atlas is devoted to the determination of the authenticity of the crushed medicinal plant raw materials of various dispersion both in monopreparations and in charges, tablets, complex drugs. The results of research on the study of the effect of chopping and the conditions of grinding on the appearance of anatomical diagnostic signs of medicinal plant raw materials of various morphological groups are given.
A large actual material is given on the experimental substantiation of the possibility of using a microscopic analysis method for determining the authenticity, purity and constancy of the composition of various drugs based on chopped vegetation raw materials, as well as the identification of plant powders in complex drugs.
Original individual methods of sample preparation of the analyzed objects are described. Microscopic descriptions are accompanied by illustrations demonstrating the most important diagnostic signs.
