The study guide addressed issues related to the use of high-molecular compounds (Navy) in pharmacy and medicine. Much attention is paid to the interaction of polymeric materials with the organism, biochemical aspects of biocompatibility, biodegradation. A significant part of the material is devoted to the characteristics of certain types of polymers, widely used in pharmacy. In some sections, polymers are isolated as medicinal substances, auxiliary materials in pharmaceutical technology, as well as for the manufacture of endoprostheses of organs and tissues.
In the book describes dosage forms with modified release, new systems and drug delivery facilities.
The publication is intended for students of higher professional educational institutions, interns, teachers of pharmaceutical faculties and universities. It can be useful as a methodological and reference manual for employees of research laboratories in the field of medicine, pharmacy, biomaterialism, Navy chemistry
