The significance of the monographic study is more complete than was done before, determining the role of P.F. Drker as an economic thinker and philosopher of modern management, the scale of its influence on the theory and practice of management and economic development. The paper contains a comprehensive analysis of Creativity P.F. Drucera, installed the main milestones of his scientific biography, conducted a study of the contribution of a scientist to the development of management problems as a systematized amount of knowledge and as a new scientific and educational discipline, to study the fundamental functions of management as a profession, to the substantiation of the concepts of management for goals and post-economic society as Knowledge Societies. Creating a scientific biography of a scientist, an objective assessment of its contribution to economic theory and management are practical in terms of training highly qualified economic scientists and effective managers for modern Russia. The conclusions of the monograph can be used in the creation of special and generalizing work on the history of the economic and managerial thoughts of the twentieth century, to prepare training courses on the theory and practice of management, social responsibility of business, post-industrial development of humanity, etc
