A.I. Lavintsev is one of the more than 50 pseudonyms of Alexander Ivanovich Krasnitsky, Russian Prosaik, journalist, playwright and poetry. For the entire period of his work, Krasnitsky wrote about 100 novels (mostly historical), a large number of stories, poems, plays, as well as biographical essays and notes to the complete collections of Pushkin, Zhukovsky, Gogol, Nikitin.
This book included two novels of the writer: "Peter and Anna", telling about the secrets of the personal life of Peter I, about complex, complete tragedy of the relationship between the Russian king and the beloved of women, and "at sunset love" - a book about the king"s passions Peter, his faithful and wrong wives, mistresses, intrigues, treasures.
The author is quite free and subjectively treats the Russian history of those distant years. However, this is not a historical study, but works in which history acts as a background, which unfolds exciting events from the life of a great person
