Spairpie (r. 1946) is one of those who define the face of today"s Hungarian literature. Proser, poet, playwright, translator, publicist, university teacher. The historian of the theater, philologist, connoisseur of Eastern European languages and realities. The novels and the plays of him did not once become an event in their homeland. The laureate of many awards was translated into many languages.
