"Lenizdat" represents the book "Man from the orchestra. Blockade diary of Leo Margulis". These are the notes of the violinist, who took part in the first legendary performance of the Seventh Symphony D. D. Shostakovich in the blockade Leningrad. The time of records covers the most tragic months of the city’s life from June 1941 to January 1943.
The book uses unique materials from city archives. The extensive comments of A. N. Kryukov, a researcher of musical broadcasting in Leningrad from the Second World War and the Blockade, as well as the comments of the historian A. S.
