The author of the book tried to introduce the analysis of the ideological sources of restructuring in the context of the current disputes on the existence of a special Russian community civilization. In contrast to the current nonoslavnophiles, it connects the Russian cultural code not with the equalized moods of the poorest peasantry or with the revolutionary passions of Stepan Razin, and with the fundamental humanistic values of the Great Russian culture of the XIX century and the Russian religious philosophy of the beginning of the twentieth century. When evaluating the historical significance of dismantling the political foundations of the Soviet system, perfect Gorbachev during the restructuring, the author of the book proceeded from the fact that all those who glorified the Russian social thought, who is accepted by Russian geniuses, perceived Leninsky October as a national catastrophe, and the Bolshevik experiment - as Violence over the Russian soul
