The famous writer, publicist, philosopher, public figure Yuri Karjakin (1930-2011) for several years made a record that he was most occupied and worried. So the “Peredelkino diary” arose - a book of deep thoughts about life, about art and memories of people who had a huge impact on our worldview (A.I. Solzhenitsyn, A.D. Sakharov, L.K. Chukovskaya, Unknown Ernst, Bulat Okudzhava et al), On prominent statesmen (M.S. Gorbachev, A.N. Yakovlev, B.N. Yeltsin and others), with whom the author was friends or closely contacted for a number of years and as a deputy of the now legendary first Congress of People"s Deputies of the USSR (1989-1991) and as a member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation (1991-1997).
