People"s Demonology of Polesia. Publishing texts in the recordings of the 80-90s. XX century. Volume 3. The mythologization of natural phenomena and human states.
This project is a new stage in the extensive work on the processing, classification and preparation for the publication of field materials of the Polesie Ethnolinguistic expedition to the Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian Polesie under the leadership of academician N.I. Tolstoy in the 80s-early 90s. XX century The previous stage of the study was supported by the research and publishing fantas of the RGNF (grants No. 09-04-16221d, No. 12-04-16088d. The result of which was the output of the first two volumes of these materials (see: "Folk demonology of the Polesie". M .: Languages of Slavic cultures, 2010. T. 1, 2012. T. 2) The main practical goal of this project is the scientific preparation for the publication of the field materials corps according to Polessian demonology, which includes information on the mythologization of natural phenomena (for example, vortex) and human states (for example, personification of diseases, fate, death), as well as the results of the “knowledgeable” activities (evil eye, damage) For publication, a case of 30 a.p. - development and testing of new principles of publication of field materials, which not only introduces new texts into their scientific circulation in their authentic state, but also represents them to reader A Fasted and classified. Data on each character is presented in the form of a body of mythological motives, each of which is equipped with separate comments. The field material described on a single principle will not only allow you to build a complete typology and classification of the Polesie mythological system, but will also make it possible to trace dialect differences in the mythological beliefs of various fields of Polesie. The work will describe the typology of the elements of the mythological system of Polesie, the degree of their prevalence in different areas of the region under study is analyzed, which will make it possible to find out how the demonology of Polesie with the general East Slavic tradition is correlated. To prepare this project, texts from 88 villages of Polesie were selected, including: out of 22 villages of the Brest region, 28 villages of the Gomel region, 5 villages of Volyn region, 7 villages of the Rivne region, 11 villages of the Zhytomyr region, 1 village of Kievskaya Region, 8 villages of the Chernihiv region, 2 villages of the Sumy region, 3 villages of the Bryansk region.
