The publication is a reduced version of the Pediatrics. National Guide , published in 2009 under the auspices of the Russian pediatricians and the Association of Medical Societies in Quality, and contains modern and relevant information on the conduct of chronic patients, nutrition of a healthy child, immunoprophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases, joints, kidneys and urinary tract . The basic principles of assistance in acute states are presented, oncological diseases in children, the pathology of the pulmonary and cardiovascular system are considered.
Leading pediatricians took part in the processing of management. The editorial council included the main expert experts of the Ministry of Health of Russia, heads of professional medical societies, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the RAMS, heads of research institutions and medical universities.
