The book is devoted to one of the most difficult sections of pediatrics and children"s surgery - the diagnosis of the pathology of the urinary system in children. The rapid development of ultrasound diagnostic equipment, a vast experience that the staff of our department has accumulated, working in close contact with the nephrisologists and the urologists of the leading children"s clinics of Moscow, allowed a lot in a new way to take a look at most problems.
In the textbook, all existing methods of ultrasound research of the urinary system in children are considered in detail. Based on the thorough study of embryogenesis, the development of the kidneys, the bladder, the ureters developed highly informative echographic and dopplerographic criteria for congenital vices of the system, inflammatory changes, obstructive uropatsis, renal failure (with all the problems resulting from this) and other pathological conditions.
